OUR STORY
In the early 1980s, Tom and Mary Frances Koetter, a couple with a deep appreciation for community rooted in humble beginnings, found unexpected success in a business that began in the couple's modest basement in 1959. Their gratitude and desire to give back led them to establish The Starlight Foundation with the vision that it would make a positive impact in the Southern Indiana community for years to come. It was named in honor of the supportive town where it all began and aimed to help those who dedicate their efforts to helping others.
In loving memory of Tom and Mary Frances, the Starlight Foundation, guided by the second and third generations of the family, continues to support the improvement of living conditions, the enhancement of educational opportunities, and increased access to technology in Southern Indiana through its measured support of worthy causes.
